Transfer latest: Ex-Sunderland star set to leave Stoke for Southampton
OUT OF FAVOUR ... former Sunderland defender Danny Collins has moved from Stoke to Southampton.
FORMER Sunderland defender Danny Collins is set to move from Stoke to Southampton on-loan till the end of the season.
The Wales international has fallen out of favour at the Britannia Stadium and has already been out on loan once this season to Ipswich.
Collins would provide much needed competition at the St Mary’s Stadium as the Saints push for promotion from the Championship.
The 31-year-old joined the Potters in 2009 from the Black Cats and has made 50 appearances for the club.
