Sima hoping to keep trophy hopes alive
SIMONSIDE host Washington Town in the Mark Blake Cup tomorrow, hoping to keep alive their last chance of silverware this season.
Boss Gordon Diamond is without Paul Trosh, but Kyle Riley returns from injury.
Diamond said: "Washington are just above us in the league table, so it will be a tight game.
"The lads are all up for this, as they were last week against Cornforth. We played some good stuff in spells on Saturday, and if we replicate that we will be in with a good chance.
"We have plenty of options, and this gives us confidence as long as we stick to our game plan.
"I think we may have tinkered too much with the team during the last couple of games to try to combat what the opposition was doing, rather than concentrate on what we are good at.
"Tomorrow, we will stick our game plan and play to our strengths.
"It should be another good game to watch, and hopefully we can progress into the next round."
