Coloccini doubtful for Newcastle’s FA Cup tie at Brighton
The Championship club play an attractive brand of football, and Pardew says if his team are below-par, they could be taught a footballing lesson in the third-round tie. “Brighton are a good team,” Pardew told Gazette.
“They play the ball about, and move you around.
“They have good technical ability, and we’ll have to be at our best to get the result.
“I just think Brighton are a well run club from top to bottom.
“You can see it. The chairman (Tony Bloom) and the manager have done a good job.
“The players have done a super job too – they‘ve jumped two divisions.”
