Pardew’s warning to Spurs ahead of White Hart Lane clash

ALAN Pardew has warned Tottenham Hotspur that his Newcastle United side will have no fear at White Hart Lane.
Newcastle yesterday returned to fifth place in the Premier League after beating Aston Villa 2-1 at St James’s Park thanks to goals from Papiss Demba Cisse and Demba Ba.
The result followed a midweek victory at Blackburn Rovers.

And Pardew feels the six-point haul has set them up for Saturday evening’s game against third-placed Spurs.
“It helps me at Spurs that we got three points,” Pardew told the Gazette. “We haven’t drawn or got beaten. We can go there and give it a go. Who knows?
“We’ve got ourselves in a good position. We’ll see what we can do.
“There’s no pressure. We’ve set up Tottenham now. We haven’t done well in London. Maybe we’ll do something – we’ll see.”
