EXPERIENCE ... Paul Harkness.

BILTON Hall heavyweight Paul Harkness will top the bill on the club’s first show of the year at the Neon club on Tuesday.

The firefighter will have to be at his best against the tough Steven Chan, from Perth Green ABC, who is a former Tyne Tees and Wear Belt holder and has experience on his side.

Another eagerly awaited derby bout between the two clubs will feature Bilton’s experienced middleweight Sean Tolson against Perth Green’s David Smith.

Hebburn-based Naquibula Nasrullah will be making his home debut for the Bilton club when he goes in against Paul Burr, from Horsley Hill ABC, in one of two derby bouts between the two clubs.

Exciting prospect Shaj Hoque will be hoping to make it three wins out of three when he takes on the capable Ryan Palmer, from Horsley Hill.

Another derby bout will feature two debutants, Shaun Wilson, from Harton Welfare ABC, against Andrew Erickson, from Perth Green, in a cruiserweight clash.

Bilton’s regional Junior ABA champion Liam Duke will be out for revenge when he goes in with the skilful Cyrus Pattinson, from Newcastle’s Ryehill ABC. The bout between these two last season received a standing ovation from a packed audience.

The experienced Sean Moore will have his 55th contest when he takes on Danny Cope from Hartlepool, while the hard-hitting Andrew Chance goes in for the Bilton club against Liam Kelly, from North Benwell ABC.

Bilton duo Sean Lewis and Liam Kapke take on Northumberland ABC pair Thomas Allen and Amar Roopra respectively.

Tickets, priced £10 and £12.50, are on sale at the Neon club or from Martyn Devlin on 07752515280.
