Sunderland fan and ex-Newcastle United youngster pens deal with Manchester United
Former Newcastle United youngster Paul Woolston has penned a new contract with Manchester United – a year after joining the Old Trafford outfit.
Woolston, a boyhood Sunderland fan, joined the Red Devils after his release from St James’s Park last summer.
And while he has been ruled out through injury for some of this term, Woolston has done enough to earn a new deal in the North West.
Reacting on Twitter, he said: “Delighted to have extended my stay @ManUtd”
