No Everton move for PSG striker
PARIS Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has denied claims that striker Guillaume Hoarau is set to move to Everton.
The Toffees, who have agreed a fee with Glasgow Rangers for Nikica Jelavic, were interested in bringing the French forward in on loan but PSG will not allow him to leave.
“We did receive transfer proposals for them (Hoarau and Kevin Gameiro), but no player will leave,” he said.
“The club and the coach are very happy with the current workforce.
“We looked at possibility of taking a striker but it did not happen and this is not the end of the world.”
The 27 year-old is one of only two fully-fit forwards available to PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti alongside French international Gameiro.
