Bruce had started work on the book with Headline Publishing Group, and a Kindle edition of “Theatre of Dreams: Playing, Managing and Everything in Between – My Autobiography”, written by Bruce, is available for pre-order on Amazon.
However, Bruce, appointed head coach at Newcastle United in the summer following the departure of Rafa Benitez, has revealed that the project has been “put on hold”. The book will eventually be published with at least a chapter devoted to what happens at St James’s Park, according to the 58-year-old.
