Steve Bruce welcomes two Newcastle United players back from injury

Andy Carroll and DeAndre Yedlin are set to return for Newcastle United at Bramall Lane.

The pair missed last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City through injury.

However, Carroll (rib) and Yedlin (hip) are back in training ahead of tomorrow night’s game against Sheffield United.

Head coach Steve Bruce said: “If they don’t have any effects (from training this afternoon), they could be involved tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, Matt Ritchie (ankle) and Jamaal Lascelles (leg) are out with long-term injuries.
