SUNDAY SERVICE ... Norwich boss Paul Lambert and Newcastle manager Alan Pardew.

BIRDWATCHERS on Tyneside will be more than happy with the news that the Magpies’ games against the Canaries and the Swans have been chosen for live television coverage.

And because of this, Newcastle United’s original fixtures against two of the promoted sides from last season have been re-arranged.

The visit of Norwich to St James’s Park has been put back a day to Sunday, March 18, with a 4pm kick-off, while Newcastle now make the trip to Swansea on Good Friday, April 6, for a 4.30pm kick-off.

Both games will be shown live on Sky Sports, as will Sunderland’s home game against Tottenham Hotspur, which has been switched to 12.45pm on Saturday, April 7.
