The 24-year-old is set to line up for the Swans at Wembley on Saturday as they take on Brentford for a place in the Premier League.
It will bring the curtain down on a hugely successful two years on loan in South Wales and provide a dilemma for Steve Bruce this summer with Martin Dubravka and Karl Darlow both enjoying strong campaigns on Tyneside.

Hide AdBruce may decide Woodman is better suited for another temporary move away from St James’s Park, and it is clear where the former England under-20s World Cup winner would prefer to end up.
"I think everyone knows that I’d love to come back,” Woodman told BBC Sport.
"It’s a fantastic football club and I feel like in two years I’ve developed so much – I’ve become a better person and a better footballer. That’s credit to the club and the manager for the way he goes about doing things.
"I’d love to come back but in football, a lot of things are out of your hands so we’ll have to see what happens.”

"You never know what can happen. If it is my last game in a Swansea shirt, I’ll manage to do it at Wembley which is nice.”
