Celtic move for for Newcastle United striker
LOAN BID ... striker Leon Best.
NEWCASTLE United striker Leon Best is understood to have turned down a move to Celtic.
With Demba Ba and Papiss Demba Cisse set to return from the African Cup of Nations, Best, 25, is set to find playing time limited with the Magpies, and the Glasgow giants tried to capitalise by making a temporary move.
The Irish international was allowed to speak to the Glasgow giants, but was unsure about the move up to Scotland.
Earlier today, Best had been linked with a loan move to Wolves.
