On Friday after getting off the 27A bus from Newcastle to Hebburn, I found I had lost my wallet.

It must have fallen out of my pocket after I returned my bus pass.

The wallet contained £115 plus cards and various items of ID.

I called the bus firm in hope and after it checked, it contacted me and said it had been handed in to the driver.

When I got the wallet back, I was pleased to find the contents were complete.

Unfortunately, the firm did not have any details of the person who handed it in.

It just goes to show that nice people still exist.

Mac Hardy,
Hebburn.
