WITH the bad weather we have had lately, I wonder if our eminent MPs or any councillors have had to get two buses to their doctors or three to their dentists, as we at the top of Whiteleas Way have to.
Two buses were taken from us, Stagecoach 16 and Go North East 57A, which covered Chichester Road and Dean Road respectively.
To get near home with shopping, it now takes over half an hour instead of the usual 15 minutes.
Having written to David Miliband MP, who passed it on with no result, a Stagecoach representative said, with a concessionary pass, I could change buses.
I was 76 years of age at the time.
I am a year older now!
