Let's make the most of our river
REFERRING to the plans for regeneration of the riverside (Gazette, August 25), I really applaud the developments making use of our river.
Pavement ads littering our streets
TO encourage youngsters to take up apprenticeships, someone, somewhere, came up with the idea of littering the pavements in South Shields with advertising approved by the North East Chamber of Commerce and South Tyneside Council.
Brave Stephen's an inspiration
