Bank staff see red for heart charity
Staff at the South Shields branch of Leeds Building Society took part in national ‘Wear Red Day’ yesterday.
It was staged to help the British Heart Foundation (BHF) raise vital funds to continue with their lifesaving work.
Christopher Allen, manager of Leeds Building Society in Fowler Street, said: “Our staff in the branch made a donation to the BHF to wear an item of red clothing for the day.”
Sue Green, British Heart Foundation’s fundraising manager, said: “Support from stakeholders, like the staff at Leeds Building Society’s South Shields branch, makes a big difference in raising vital funds for our life-saving work.”
