Duane Burney, 34, of Wordsworth Avenue, Houghton, pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damage. He was jailed for eight weeks, suspended for 18 months, and made the subject of a five-year restraining order. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £121 surcharge.
Peter Marshall, 40, of Hillcrest, Esh Village, pleaded guilty to stalking a woman in Hetton. He was given a 20-week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, and made subject of a five-year restraining order. He was ordered to pay £300 in compensation, £250 costs and a surcharge of £121.

Hide AdStephen McCabe, 33, of Flodden Road, Sunderland, was given a six-month conditional discharge after admitting criminal damage to a police vehicle. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation.
James Murray, 29, of Titchfield Road, Biddick, Washington, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol, without insurance and without a licence. He was fined £250 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a surcharge of £32. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.
Sophie Ross, 23, of Benfleet Avenue, Town End Farm, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to criminal damage. She was ordered to pay compensation of £150.
Sandra Douglas, 54, of Beechwood Crescent, Southwick, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. She was given a 12-month community order and told to pay £85 costs and a £90 surcharge. She was banned from driving for 26 months.

Michael David Lines, 40, of Alverthorpe Street, South Shields, was fined £40 after he admitted speeding. He was given three penalty points and ordered to pay £88 costs and a £30 surcharge.
Craig Potts, 45, of Eden Walk, Jarrow, was fined £123 after he admitted owning an unlicensed vehicle. He was ordered to pay £70 back duty and £85 costs.
