Investigation continues after man stabbed outside Jarrow shop
and live on Freeview channel 276
The incident took place at around 6.30am on Tuesday, August 18, outside the Londis supermarket on Edinburgh Road, Jarrow.
In the aftermath of the assault, which left a man with injuries “consistent with a stabbing”, police launched an investigation.

Hide AdMore than 24 hours on from the crime, officers are continuing their inquires.
A force spokesperson said on Tuesday: “We received a report that a man had been assaulted at an address on Edinburgh Road, Jarrow.
“Officers attended the scene and found a 30-year-old man with injuries consistent with a stabbing. He was taken to hospital.
