Burglars stole cash from Shields curry house
THIEVES broke into a restaurant in South Tyneside and stole cash.
Raiders forced the back door of the Tandoori International in Ocean Road, South Shields, and stole £200 sometime between 2am and 2pm yesterday.
Meanwhile, an Alba radio cassette player was stolen from a car in Waverdale Way, South Shields.
The Citroën Saxo was broken into between 8pm on Sunday and 7am yesterday.
Any witnesses or anyone with information on the break-ins is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69194 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
