Jason Scanlon, 33, of Beach Road, South Shields, was given a six-month conditional discharge after admitting urinating in a public place, namely Dean Road, on Thursday, February 25.
He was also ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Danielle Wright, 29, of Lumley Avenue, South Shields, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £230 after admitting driving with excess alcohol in Ocean Road, South Shields, on Saturday, April 2.

Scott Atkinson, 21, of Prensgarth Way, South Shields, was fined £125 and had his driving licence endorsed with three penalty points after pleading guilty to driving a Vauxhall Vectra vehicle without due care and attention in Whiteleas Way, South Shields on Monday, February 1.

He failed to notify police of foreign travel.
