Ship contract another success

editorial image

ANOTHER ship contract has been successfully completed at A&P Tyne.

The European Supporter left the Hebburn yard last week, bound for Rotterdam.

After arriving at the yard last spring, the vessel has provided welcome employment for the workforce.

Managing director Stewart Boak said: “The vessel had been with A&P since May of last year, and provided a good level of work.

“She has been adapted for the offshore wind market as a cable-laying vessel. Hopefully, she will commencework in the North Sea in the very near future.”
