LIFE IS LOVELY: Easter weekend was filled with fun

It doesn’t seem two minutes since it was last Easter and this year we have a new addition to share the holiday with.
As it was a four-day weekend we made the most of the time off together with a weekend filled with fun.

Hide AdWe started off Good Friday with a trip to the sea front which was a bit nippy but we didn’t let it spoil our time and we headed to the arcades where Elijah became attached to a fire engine machine where he could spray water to put the fire out.
Of course being a fan of cars and motorbikes he was able to play on the driving games with Kieran who helped him to win lots of tickets.
No Good Friday trip to the sea front would be complete without some fish and chips and after all the fun at the arcades we ended the afternoon eating them in the car.
As I said earlier, it was Layla’s first Easter so I took the liberty of buying her a chick outfit and she looked adorable in it ready to head off for Sunday’s adventure.

As he’s a big fan of Hulk he spotted a Hulk helicopter and monster truck to ride and had the biggest grin on his face.
He finished off the afternoon riding on a pirate ship before diving his face into some blueberry ice cream. Yummy!
As we entered Easter Monday it was the last day to have some fun before it was back to work on Tuesday so it was an afternoon at soft play with his best friend Tommy.

After a quick stop to visit cousins it was time for home to chill out and eat some of the Easter chocolate.
That is Easter done for another year but next year Layla will be walking and can enjoy the weekend with her big brother.
