Council 'harming' firms

HAVE town hall bureaucrats really got nothing better to do than disrupt the business activities of decent, hard-working people like Lisa Scott?

Wasting time and money getting Ms Scott to remove a sandwich board advertising her business demonstrates that, under Labour, South Tyneside does not "mean business".

For goodness sake, find something better to do with your time rather than working to damage small companies. Why don't you start with tackling the budget deficits?

Alas, I suspect the mindset of the Labour administration will never change.

This culture of bureaucracy and gross hypocrisy just runs too far down the roots of South Shields Town Hall.

Coun David Potts,

Conservative group leader,

South Tyneside Council.
