Brave Stephen's an inspiration
AFTER reading about the life of Stephen Tuck (Gazette, Saturday, August 7), who is rebuilding his life 21 years after being attacked outside a South Shields nightclub, I was left speechless.
Words cannot express his courage and determination.
I could not describe the joy I felt knowing he was never a victim and went on to a great victory – for happiness.
Stephen has attained that which the world has not yet gained. Yes, happiness.
Thank you, Stephen, for giving joy through the media to many, many Gazette readers.
If ever I'm tempted to moan, I will always remember Stephen's courage and true grit.
